Erika Velazquez

Erika has lived in Napa since she was born as a first-generation Mexican American. Erika is an Account Executive in Commercial Lines for Relation Insurance Services in Napa. Erika has 19 years’ experience in the agriculture industry working for farm labor contractors and the wine industry. For the past 10 years, she has focused her career on insurance in workers’ compensation and now on the agency side. She is bilingual which allows her to uniquely position herself to provide her clients with strong risk management knowledge. She holds various designations and trainer certifications which include Forklift Instructor and adult CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor. Erika received her BA in Spanish with a minor in Communication Studies from Sacramento State University. In pursuit of continuously building her safety knowledge and abilities, Erika recently completed her Master’s in Science with a concentration in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University. Erika has a passion for education and enjoys teaching. She works closely with her local community as an active member of the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation and as an education committee member providing training and resources to the local community.
